Brad Spencer is an associate at Pearne & Gordon LLP. He has experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications in the electrical, mechanical and software fields, trademark applications, and copyright applications. Brad has rendered infringement, patentability, and validity opinions and has experience in negotiating and drafting business agreements, such as coexistence and nondisclosure agreements.

Prior to entering the practice of law, Brad was a consulting engineer with the engineering and architecture firm Burgess & Niple. At Burgess& Niple, Brad prepared detailed design plans and specifications for electrical distribution and process control systems improvements, for municipal and industrial facilities.

Brad is currently a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association, the Cleveland Intellectual Property Law Association, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

Brad is a registered professional engineer in the states of Arizona, Indiana, Ohio and West Virginia.
